Request Amid the COVID-19 Pandemic

First of all, we would like to thank you for your continued support of our artists.

We have a request for you with respect to posts and comments on the Internet and social media mentioning our artists that have contracted COVID-19.

While taking infection-control measures in the workplace, our artists regularly undergo PCR tests. If anyone tests positive or has had close contact with an infected person, we instruct the artists, managers, and staff concerned to undergo a PCR test as a daily precaution. Our artists are cooperating in these efforts proactively with a sense of responsibility.

We aim to allow the artists to work as safely as possible because they have to appear unmasked due to the nature of their work. In addition, these measures are necessary to minimize the number of infections.

We have received many supportive comments and get-well messages, which encourage our artists.

However, some people posted slanderous comments about the infected artists and those who have had close contact with an infected person, the number of whom is increasing daily. Please refrain from making posts and comments that are not based on facts.

We recognize the significance of the testing system because it allows people to stop working early if positive test results are confirmed, before the start of symptoms. With the current rise of infections in Japan, the number of cases requiring PCR tests is also rising at our office to 800 tests per week. We will make efforts to prevent the spread of the infection by continuing PCR testing.

Once again, we would like to express our gratitude to medical professionals and those who are engaged in infection control and PCR testing for their understanding and commitment. Additionally, we request your kindness toward COVID-positive people, including our artists.
